I finished The Elfish Gene last night and I'm not sure if I cared for it or not. It had quite a few funny moments, it reminded me of the things I did at that age and the interactions/friendships I had, and it was engaging but I really did feel like he was blaming D&D for his personal demons. I just got back from my visit with my brother in Ottawa. Conveniently timed with Cangames. I was planning on going up Friday after work, but I felt like crap and wasn't up to the 4-5 hr trek at 8PM.
